Monica Beas

Monica is a Program Manager working on GetCalFresh. Prior to joining Code for America, Monica worked as a case manager for Alameda County Social Services, working with individuals and families to determine their eligibility for public assistance. She also served as a district representative in the East Bay where she led community outreach initiatives with the Department of Health and Human Services. Monica is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and grooving to a mixture of funk, salsa, oldies, and soul music.
