Lauren Murakami

Lauren is a Senior Designer at Code for America. Prior to joining the team, Lauren worked as a freelance graphic designer for small businesses, nonprofits, and leading healthcare organizations. In her early years, she dedicated her time to the Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center, working to bridge the digital literacy and opportunity divide for early-stage creatives and small businesses. Her most recent client base spanned organizations and companies across the country, focusing in education, real estate, health & wellness, tech, and interior design. Lauren is a San Francisco native who is a proud auntie, dog lover, and food enthusiast.
