Laura Kogler

Laura is a scientist turned software engineer. Before working at Code for America, she was an engineering manager at Pivotal Labs where she helped clients from small startups to large enterprises deliver high quality software using agile and user-centered processes. Before moving into the software industry, she was a physicist with a background in scientific software development. She has a PhD in neutrino physics from UC Berkeley and spent a year working on radiation detection for nuclear non-proliferation at Sandia National Laboratories.
