Janelle Rice (she/her)

Prior to Code for America, Janelle was the regional director of a chain of child development centers across the state of South Dakota. She obtained a master’s degree in forensic psychology and worked as a mental health technician for a behavioral hospital, specializing in adolescent care.  She takes pride in her work and uses any excuse to try to think outside of the box to get tasks done more efficiently. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, critical thinking games, and spoiling her cats and dogs.
