Elizabeth Smith is head of marketing for Code for America. She is a veteran integrated marketing and communications professional with experience in branding, media relations, issues management, volunteer recruitment and engagement, donor relations, fundraising communications and customer acquisition. Elizabeth has most recently served as a chief marketing officer in a diverse set of higher education institutions.
Elizabeth holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree from Auburn University. She is proud to hold the Guinness World Record for the largest Soul Train line.
