Amee Covarrubias

Amee is a former director of inclusion who is passionate about code, community, and equitable technology. After working on international inclusion and social justice campaigns, Amee shifted her efforts to helping her home community and local government during these unprecedented times. As a first generation Latina, Amee believes in the power of visibility and highlighting marginalized voices in the tech industry. She is joining Code for America as a software engineer on Team Oakland.
