The 2014 Fellowship

Between the 50 governments and the 650+ individuals who applied for a spot in the 2014 Fellowship program,  Code for America’s selection committee had their work cut out for them — and with so many qualified applicants and innovative governments, the decisions were incredibly difficult. Thanks again to everyone who applied — you’re heroes to us.

We’re proud to announce the 2014 Fellowship.

2014 Government Partners

From the City of Long Beach to the State of Rhode Island, this year’s partners are poised for a promising year. The group was chosen from more than 50 qualified applicants and for their dedication to innovation and forward-thinking staff.  For the first time in the organization’s history, this year’s fellowship partners will feature a State (Rhode Island) and work with an unincorporated U.S. territory (San Juan, Puerto Rico). For more info on each partner, click on their government seals below.

2014 Fellows

From Washington to Wisconsin and California to Kentucky, this year’s fellows will travel from across the country to take part in the 11-month pursuit for public good. The 2014 Fellowship class includes developers, designers, and researchers with a passion for civic tech and an interest in improving communities. We look forward to next year, and embarking on this journey with such an impressive team. To read the fellow bios, click on their images below.
